Thinking Positively Versus Thinking Negatively

Are you a positive thinker or a negative thinker? Take a look at your life and then ask yourself, do bad things always happen to me? If you said yes, then I will give you some great tips on how to change the way you think, in order to change the way your life is being lived.

If you are a negative thinker, then you are actually creating more negative to your life. For instance, have you ever been driving with your car on empty? You were probably saying, “I’m going to run out of gas.” And in your mind you repeated those negative thoughts over and over again until, you literally ran out of gas. If you would of just said in your mind, or out loud, “I have plenty of gas to get me where I’m going.” You actually changed your thinking, and ultimately changed the negative thought to a positive thought, and the positive thought will win.

Having positive thinking is so powerful. And the amazing thing about positive thinking is that it takes no effort to do. The only hard part is deciding to change your mindset. And when you decide to change those negative thoughts into positive thoughts and do it day in and day out, then your life starts to change right before your very own eyes.

Take for instance a person who constantly is thinking negative thoughts on the work place. They are constantly thinking negative thoughts of, “I’ll never get promoted, I can’t do anything right, I will never be as good as my co-worker,” and the negative thoughts go on and on all day. What that person is doing is putting so many negative thoughts in their head that their confidence in themselves is so low that what they are thinking is actually what they are getting, more negativity! And they never get promoted or they never feel like they are doing a great job.

Here is what they can do to make that all change. Get up every morning with a positive thought. For instance wake up and say, “Today is going to be a great day.” And do this each and every morning. Then continue that same thought all day long. Tell yourself that you are a wonderful employee, you have great ideas and everything you do turns into success. Be consistent on your positive thinking. And when a negative thought comes, quickly change it to a positive one.

Being a positive thinker will bring you success, joy, good health, and the power to change anything. It all starts with you and that wonderful mind God has given you. Now put it to work, the positive way!
